Revd Canon Jonathan Baker is the Vicar of Beverley Minster.
Jonathan studied History at Cambridge and Law at Guildford before working as a solicitor in London for five years. After serving in churches in Croydon and Scarborough, Jonathan went to Peterborough in 2004 where he was Canon Missioner at the Cathedral, overseeing the ministry to visitors, and schools. He became Acting Dean of Peterborough Cathedral.
Jonathan’s particular interests are preaching, the relation of faith to culture, Christian spirituality, and holy places. He grew up in Warwickshire. Jonathan’s leisure interests include history, architecture and the visual arts, including film.
